- As a supplier of equipment to Airline Operators, the Company is accustomed to building equipment with reliable performance characteristics, due to an awareness of the potentially high costs associated with down time in this industry.
- In recognition of Static's design capability, the company has gained awards including the Australian Design Award, the Australian Design Selection Award, the S.E. Pike Trophy from the Australian Institute of Material Handling, and the International Trophy for Technology. In addition, the company was a winning entrant in the 1993 South Australian Export Awards.
Static's specialist field of engineering lies in the design and manufacture of aircraft ground support equipment, and has in addition a diverse product mix which includes elevating work platforms, transport and material handling equipment, bulk aggregate handling grabs, fibreglass products, and a range of hydraulic and heavy structural engineering products.
All of Static's products are backed by warranty, after sales service,and operator training if so required.

DESIGN VERSATILITY
In order to meet the various requirements of Commercial and Defence Clients, a versatility of design skills is available at Static.
Services in design include feasibility studies, accredited research and development, design drawings and engineering calculations, and the manufacture of prototypes and test devices.
Traditional design skills are enhanced by the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques.

DEFENCE SUPPORT EQUIPMENT
Two major products offered to Defence Forces by Static are the Australian Design Award winning TALU and its hi-lift counterpart, the TASLU. Both units are fully air transportable in the Hercules C130 and similar aircraft. The TALU and TASLU are self propelled, roll-on, roll-off, loading/unloading vehicles specifically designed for handling containers, pallets, skid mounted and mobile equipment.
Static has been involved with a variety of defence projects over the years, including aircraft bomb ejector assemblies, rocket launcher handling, ammunition storage facilities, and heavy -duty recovery equipment.
In 1989, Static acted as a major subcontractor to AWA Defence Industries in the Mobile Air Traffic Control System (MATCS) project for the Royal Australian Air Force. Static's participation related to the development, design and manufacturing of the structural, mechanical and air transportability aspects of the project.
